Spencer, IA: (Jul 17, 2012) - The Spencer Chamber Ag Committee will host the annual Ag Experience event on Thursday at the Clay County Fairgrounds.
 
The purpose of the event is to help people in the community better understand how agriculture impacts their lives.
 
Jarrett Smith, with the Ag Committee, comments on what visitors will experience when they visit the Livestock Pavilion at the Fairgrounds.
 

 
In addition, Smith says a local grocery store will have a display of food products made from local corn and soybeans.
 

 
A free lunch will be provided. The 2012 Ag Experience will be from 10 until 2 p.m. at the Livestock Pavilion on the Clay County Fairgrounds in Spencer.
