PLAC Series Continues

Okoboji, IA (KICD)--The Growing Iowa's Economy Speaker Series at the Pearson Lakes Art Center continues Wednesday evening.

Scott Bush founded Templeton Rye Spirits, LLC and currently serves at the President of the company. His great-grandfather Frank Schroeder was an entrepreneur during Prohibition and was one of many farmers who found a way to keep their farm during the great depression by making Templeton Rye. Stories of his and other families’ adventures producing and selling the Good Stuff drew Scott to resurrect Templeton Rye as a legal brand.

The Wall Lake native spent 6 years with JP Morgan Chase in Chicago and New York, where he was responsible for analyzing and structuring debt for companies ranging in size from Fortune 500 to small entrepreneurial businesses. Scott also worked for Common Angels, a technology based angel investment firm located in Boston and considered one of the preeminent angel firms in the US . At Common Angels, Scott was responsible or analyzing business plans and performing detailed due diligence on prospective investments.

Bush's presentation is Wednesday night at 7:00 PM. at the Pearson Lakes Art Center.  There will be a Templeton Rye tasting event that evening.

For more info contact the PLAC box office at 712-332-7029.  This event is free to attend.
