Lakes FD Calls

Arnolds Park/Spirit Lake, IA (KICD)--Friday night's power outage in the lakes region leads to a number of calls to area fire departments.

Arnolds Park/Okoboji Fire Chief Chris Yungbluth tells KICD News they were called out to Mcdonalds around 5:00.

The store is back up and running. Yungbluth says they had to deal with other issues due to the electrical outage.

Yungbluth and Spirit Lake FIre Chief Dave Kollasch say that they received several calls after carbon monoxide detectors were activated.

After investigation fire crews found no carbon monoxide related issues.
