Deerfield Park Bid Approved

Spencer, IA (KICD)--Phase 1 of the 2012 Deerfield Park Enhancement project moves forward after a bid is accepted at Monday night's Spencer City Council session.

Brad Beck with Beck Engineering that the low bid of $138,540.75 by Howry Construction of Rockwell City was over $3,100 below their estimate.

Beck gives an overview of what will be done.

Work is slated to start by September 4th with things to be wrapped up in 4-5 weeks after the project start date.
