Wes Scantlin seals divorce with smiley faces

Puddle of Mudd rocker Wes Scantlin is clearly happy his marriage is ending - he signed the divorce documents with two smiley faces.

Scantlin filed for divorce in November after marrying Jessica Nicole in 2008.

In court documents obtained by TMZ, Scantlin has agreed to pay more than $2,500 in alimony, and happily sealed the divorce with the unusual signatures.

Jessica's lawyer, Brian Kramer, tells the U.S. gossip website, "It's most definitely the first time in all my years of doing this work that I've have had an opposing party sign with a smiley face on a divorce decree imposing maximum spousal support. It's certainly a refreshing change to see an artist who is cheerful about honouring such an obligation instead of treating it like it were the end of the world."

Earlier this year, Scantlin's estranged wife asked a judge to throw out the couple's prenuptial agreement so she can have half the rocker's assets, but they later resolved their differences after coming to an agreement about how they will divide the assets.
