Estherville, IA (KICD)--Registration is still open for middle schoolers to attend the 1st ever STEM camp

Iowa Lakes Community College Science Professor Bob Klepper reminds KICD listeners what STEM stands for.



Klepper says they will have two focus areas during the camp.



Klepper says one of the classes he teaches is forensic science.



There will be math offerings that are yet to be determined with a likely focus on wind energy as well.

The 3 day middle school STEM camp will take place at the Estherville campus of Iowa Lakes Community College July 29th through August 1st.  Tuition is $200 and includes a stay at the campus dorms.

STEM Camp is for youth who have completed grades 6 or 7.
