Library Director Chosen

Spencer, IA (KICD)--The next director of the Spencer Library is tabbed.

Mandy Roberts, who currently serves as reference librarian for the Tippecanoe County Public Library in Indiana, tells KICD News that one of her goals in her profession has always been to become a library director.

Roberts says the board seemed impressed with her enthusiasm and positivity.

Roberts plans to have a focus on patrons of all ages.

Mandy's 1st day on the job is slated for August 13th.

Roberts is taking over for Kay Iversen who retired this Spring.
