'Jersey Shore' star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro accused of assault
"Jersey Shore" star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro is facing fresh legal trouble - he has been accused of simple assault.
Justin Viterito claims the star roughed him up during a fight at nightclub Bamboo Bar in New Jersey on June 9 and last week he filed a private citizen's assault complaint against the 26-year-old at the Municipal Court in Seaside Heights, New Jersey.
MTV and its parent company Viacom were also named, according to the New Jersey Star-Ledger.
The alleged scuffle could cause major problems for the star - last July he was ordered to stay out of trouble for 18 months after he was hit with assault allegations relating to a separate bar brawl in 2009.
The month has proved tumultuous for the cast of the U.S. reality series - Jenni 'JWoww' Farley reportedly sustained a minor foot injury during the alleged incident between Ortiz-Magro and Viterito and Deena Cortese was slapped with a disorderly conduct charge for disrupting traffic the following day.
