Shins frontman James Mercer says he might make another Broken Bells album before doing the next project from his main band.

What Mercer does next is dependent on his Broken Bells collaborator Danger Mouse -- a.k.a. Brian Burton. Mercer tells Billboard, "We've talked about it a little bit. We've got songs already worked out, too -- a few things we had been working on after [our debut] record was pretty much done which we figured would be on the next record."

Mercer admits it depends on Burton's schedule. "It'll be whenever we get together. Right now Brian's doing U2; I think he's still in Dublin doing that. He's so sought-after and so busy."
