Spencer, IA (KICD)--A new program is tested during last week's primary election.

Clay County Auditor Marge Pitts tells KICD News that they. along with five other counties in the state, took part in a trial run for a voter activity website.



The database combined precinct voting and Iowa DOT information that is compiled onto a spreadsheet.



Pitts says this does not affect any aspects of how the election is conducted and simply allows for a more instantaneous way to get information that all from the public can currently view at a later time.



Pitts hopes to have a link to the voter activity website up on the county website for the general election.
