Okoboji, IA (KICD)--The 2nd edition of a book highlighting the Roof Garden Ballroom is being released today.
Tom Tourville teamed up with Rebecca Peters over the past several years to pen "Remembering Okoboji's Roof Garden Ballroom-The Rock & Roll Years."
After going through three printings of the 1st edition it was decided an update was needed.
Tourville says it was not an easy task to gather all of the information.
Tourville believes the book is very personal to many and brings back a number of great memories.
On Wednesday, July 11th at 7:30 p.m. Tourville and Peters will offer up a free presentation accompanied by large screen video in the Lauridsen Theatre, at the Pearson Lakes Art Center.
The book itself can be purchased on Amazon.com, the Iowa Rock & Roll Music Association's Museum, Maritime Museum, Pearson Lakes Art Center, The Barn Swallow, and both Hill Avenue Books locations.
