Sioux City, IA (KICD)--A Milford man is sentenced to more than two years in federal prison on meth distribution charges.

At a February guilty plea 32-year-old Terry Lowry admitted his involvement in a conspiracy that from 2010 through February, 2011, distributed more than 50 grams of methamphetamine in the Spencer area.  Lowry pled guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.

Lowry was sentenced to 30 months in prison today in Sioux City Federal Court, and must also serve a four-year term of supervised release after the prison term. There is no parole in the federal system.

Local agencies assisting with the prosecution include the Iowa Great Lakes Drug Task Force, Spencer Police Department, Milford Police Department, Clay County Sheriff’s Office, and Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office.
