Spencer, IA: (Jun 06, 2012)  - An Everly, Iowa farm family is featured in a new advertisement for Iowa Lakes Community College (ILCC).
 
The Doug & Kathy Geerdes family is featured because all six of their children chose to attend ILCC before transferring to Iowa State University to complete their degrees.
 
The youngest of the Geerdes children, Stacey, started classes at ILCC last fall. She says it was a natural choice for her.
 

 
After a couple of years at Iowa Lakes, Stacey plans to transfer to Iowa State and pursue a degree in agriculture, like all of her siblings, except brother, Eddie. He is studying Engineering at, where else, Iowa State University.
