Kenny Chesney often wakes up best pal Tim McGraw in the middle of the night to perform his version of "For A Little While" while onstage at gigs overseas.

Chesney loves to play the song live and will phone his friend to let him hear crowds singing along.

He tells Entertainment Weekly magazine, "There were many nights where I called him at two in the morning and woke the household up, and I would let the crowd sing it to him."
