Everly, IA (KICD)--The Clay Central Everly School Board meets in regular session Wednesday evening.

Superintendent Bob Raymer gave KICD News an update on the district's cash flow.



The board approved new director districts following the 2010 census.  These new boundaries put two board members in the same district.



Discussion was also held on changes for next year as a result of First Lady Michelle Obama's mandated school lunch program.



The district will be compensated an additional 6 cents for meal for free and reduced lunches if they follow through with the mandate.  Board members and cafeteria staff expressed displeasure towards the plan.

It was also noted that district 4th graders will be a part of the Condition of America report next year and the 2012 Senior Class did not have a single dropout with all graduating.
