Royal, IA (KICD)--The Clay Central Everly School board approves up to a $30,000 committment towards construction of a new preschool playground.

Superintendent Bob Raymer tells KICD News that in order to be funded by the state a new playground is a necessity.



The funding committment will also make applying for additional grants much more feasible.



Current enrollment in CCE preschool is maxed out at 20 for both 3 and 4-year-olds.



Plans are still in the preliminary stages although the cost is expected to start at around $40,000 on the lower end.
