Northwest Bank Acquisition



Spencer, IA (KICD)--A regional bank with Spencer owners has bought out a pair of it's competitor's locations.



Northwest Bank President and CEO Greg Post tells KICD News that there is much respect towards Liberty Bank's customer base and their history.



Post says customers should expect business as usual.



Post says Northwest Bank and Liberty Bank have drive-ups located across the street from each other in Spirit Lake so the Liberty bank drive-up will be closed almost immediately. A decision on the other buildings hasn’t been made yet.

Northwest Bank intends to complete the purchase by March 31st.  The purchase is subject to regulatory approval.
