Annie's Project Comes To Northwest Iowa

Spencer, IA: (Jan. 23, 2012) - If you are a farm woman who wants to learn more about risk management in your farming operation, then perhaps Annie’s Project is for you.

The nationally recognized course is designed to help farm women develop management and decision making skills for their farms.

Kaye Strohbehn, with Iowa State University Extension, talks about some of the topics that will be covered in this six session course.

Annie’s Project starts February 2nd in Sioux Center and runs for six Thursdays. The cost is $75. And the class size is limited to the first thirty women who sign up. Strohbehn explains why.

Strohbehn says the registration deadline is this Friday, January 27th. She can be reached at 712-957-5045. Any ISU Extension Office will have information on Annie’s Project.
