“What Is My Business Worth” Seminar

Spencer, IA (KICD)-A free seminar titled “What Is My Business Worth” is being presented this coming Wednesday in Spencer.

Presenter Mike Schoville with the Business Brokers, Inc. of Grimes tells KICD News this a great opportunity for those having a hard time putting a value on their business now or in the future.

Schoville says it is good to know what bankers and potential buyers consider when acquiring a business.

Schoville says there are between 70,000 and 100,000 privately owned businesses in Iowa, and around a quarter of those are owned by someone 55 or older.

The free “What Is My Business Worth” workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, April 30th from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Spencer Campus of Iowa Lakes Community College.  Those wishing to attend are asked to RSVP through the Spencer Chamber of Commerce.
