Wallingford Semi Accident

Wallingford Semi Accident

Wallingford, IA (KICD) — An Estherville man is injured in a semi rollover.

The Emmet County Sheriffs Office said the accident on 230th Avenue happened around 9:20 Tuesday morning. 45-year old Leigh Beaver was driving a 2013 Peterbilt semi tractor-trailersouth on 230th Avenue, just south of Wallingford, and approached a curve to the west.

It was thought the semi was going too fast to compensate the curve, and it overturned, spilling cattle feed. Beaver was taken to Avera Holy Family Hospital by ambulance, with non-incapacitating injuries. He was cited for Failure To Maintain Control.
