Spencer, IA (KICD)–The shelves at the Upper Des Moines Food Pantry of Clay County are at their lowest levels in two years.

Outreach Coordinator Anita Jorgenson tells KICD News they are completely out of a number of items.

Jorgenson says they are well stocked with meat, peanut butter, and jelly but can use any other items.

Local grocery stores provide discounts which make Monetary donations stretch as well. Get in touch with the Upper Des Moines Food Pantry of Clay County to set up a time to drop items off or have them picked up.
