Tornado Sigthings Reported

Undated, (KICD)–Rough weather including a number of tornado sightings occured Sunday evening in the KICD listening area.
Tornadoes were spotted on four occassions from 8:37-8:52 north and west of Hospers.  Severe damage to a dairy farm which set 500 cattle loose was reported.  A tornado was also spotted three miles southwest of Sheldon just before 9:00 p.m.
Hail up to 1.5 inches started earlier in the evening at 6:10 in Cherokee County near Quimby and in Meriden.  The hail then moved north-northeast of Sutherland around 6:45.  Hail measuring 1.25 inches was spotted at 7:52 in Cylinder.
