Tool Theft

Cornell, IA (KICD) — The Clay County Sheriffs Office is asking for help in the theft of tools from a locked trailer.

Sometime between 6-pm Friday, August 15th and 7:30-am Monday, August 18th, numerous construction tools were taken from a locked trailer that was forced open on a construction job site, south of Cornell in Clay County.

A partial list of tools taken include a Transit unit w/Tripod, Staple Gun, Router, Rechargeable Batteries, Hand Tools, Chop Saw, Impact Sockets and several drop cords.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Clay County Sheriff’s Office or Clay County Crimestoppers Text-A-Tip by texting “CRIMES” or log on to claycountysheriffsoffice.com to leave a message.
Clay County Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to $500 dollars for information leading to the arrest or conviction of the person or persons involved in this case.
