Summer Reading Program

Spencer, IA (KICD)–Signup for the 2014 Summer Reading program at the Spencer Public Library starts this Saturday.

Library Director Mandie Roberts tells KICD News the program originally started as a way to keep kids reading through the Summer.

Roberts says they have added on and adult portion and have themes for each group.

Roberts says those taking part earn prizes and entries based on time reading and providing book reviews,with a pair of Amazon Kindles as the grand prizes.

Roberts is very excited about the programs they are offering.

Signup for the Spencer Library Summer Reading Program starts this Saturday and continues throughout the Summer.
