Storm Lake, IA (KICD) — A Storm Lake woman is arrested after an identity theft incident.
  On Thursday afternoon, Storm Lake Police were dispatched to the Drivers License Office at the Buena Vista County Courthouse in reference to an incident of identity theft.

Upon arrival, police met with staff who reported to police that a client in the office, 35-year old Cellia Lipai, allegedly attempted to use identification information belonging to her brother by altering a government document in order to attain a driver’s license.

Police arrested Lipai at the courthouse and following an investigation charged her with Forgery, a class D felony, and Identity Theft. She was booked into the Buena Vista County Jail on a $7000.00 cash bond.
