Storm Lake, IA (KICD) — A Storm Lake man is arrested on forgery charges.
On Thursday afternoon, Storm Lake Police took a report on a possible forgery.  Police were told by the reporting party that she was missing her credit card and that it had been used earlier in the day at the Storm Lake Wal-Mart Store with charges exceeding $700.00.
Police reviewed Wal-Mart security video and identified the suspect who allegedly used the card as 48-year old Mark Loiseau.  He was located later in the afternoon, and was taken into custody.  It was found he had the victim’s credit card on him, along with 6 WalMart gift cards totalling in excess of $700, and a receipt documenting the forgery.
As a result, Loiseau was charged with 2 counts of Forgery, a class D felony. He was booked into the Buena Vista County Jail on a $10,000.00 bond.
