Storm Lake, IA (KICD) — A Storm Lake man is injured after losing control of his vehicle.

The Buena Vista County Sheriffs Office said the accident Monday morning happened on County Road M-44, just south of 105th Avenue. 33-year old Juan Pineda was driving a 1999 Infinity north on 105th Avenue, and came to a curve rated at 30 mph. Due to the snow and ice on the road, Pineda was going to fast for the conditions, and lost control of the vehicle

The Infinity went into the north ditch then rolled. Pineta was taken by ambulance to the hospital, with a shoulder injury. He was cited for Failure to Provide Security Against a Liability Accident, and Failure To Have A Valid Drivers License.
