Spencer Merchant and Solicitors Licenses

Spencer Merchant and Solicitors Licenses

Spencer, IA (KICD)–The city of Spencer is putting out a reminder concerning transient merchant and solicitors licenses.

City Clerk Theresa Reardon tells KICD News the ordinance requiring a license is in place year round, but there tends to be a spike around the Clay County Fair.

Reardon says those looking to sell merchandise need to stop by City Hall.

A Police check will be performed on all applicants.
