Spencer Kick Door Burglary


Spencer, IA (KICD)–A Spencer man was jailed over the weekend after kicking in a door and pointing a gun.
Spencer Police received a call at 1:00 Sunday afternoon reporting that 26-year-old Nathan Tesch kicked in a door at a home earlier in the morning and pointed a gun at the occupants.  Tesch was found and taken into custody.  A search of Tesch’s home turned up the weapon used in the incident, a shotgun and ammunition, and drug related items.
Tesch has been charged with 1st Degree Burglary, Possession of Marijuana With the Intent to Distribute, and 4th Degree Criminal Mischief.  He was booked into Clay County jail.
