Soto Additional Charges

Storm Lake, IA (KICD) — Additional charges are filed on a man wanted for 17 years in Arizona, that was recently captured in Iowa.

Storm Lake Police following an investigation allege that 40-year old Jesus Carlos Soto was employed at a construction company in Storm Lake from January until April 2014 under an assumed name.

Police further allege that on March 7th, 2014 Soto was stopped by police for a traffic violation and provided false information to police at that time. On Thursday, April 24th, Storm Lake Police additionally charged Soto with Identity Theft, a class D felony and Providing False Information to Law Enforcement.

Soto remains held in the Buena Vista County Jail.
