Sibley Theft Plea


Sibley, IA (KICD) — A Sibley man charged with theft in four Iowa counties enters a plea in court.

52-year old Michael Block, charged with 19 counts of theft, enter a written plea of not guilty Thursday in Osceola County District Court, to all charges. No trial date has been set yet. Block is facing charges of 7 counts of 1st degree theft, 10 counts of 2nd degree theft, and one count each of 3rd and 4th degree theft.

After Osceola County Deputies searched Block’s property and found stolen items from Osceola, Sioux Lyon and O’Brien Counties, including wagons, construction equipment, a baler, 4 motor vehicles and trailers, Block turned himself in back in April.
