Granville, IA (KICD) — A Granville man was arrested on fraud charges.

On Friday evening, the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office arrested 36-year old Arthur Burns.  The arrest was the result of an investigation of a report from a Sheldon resident who said someone was using their debit card to make unwanted purchases.

  Deputies investigated and discovered that Burns had been using the victim’s debit card to make over $200 in purchases from an online website.  As a result, Burns was charged with credit card fraud and theft.  He was booked into the Sioux County Jail.
  Assisting in the investigation was the Sheldon Police.
