 Sheldon, IA (KICD) — Firefighters were called out to a Wednesday evening bin fire.
  Sheldon Fire Chief Jerry Meyer said around 8:15, the Sheldon Fire Company was called to a grain dryer fire at the Deluxe Feeds feed mill complex on RMT Avenue.Sheldon   Upon arrival, firefighters could see fire in a cooling bin. A minimal amount of water was used to extinguish the fire and the bin was then emptied.
The fire was called in by workers at the plant.  There were no injuries and no damage estimate was unavailable.  About 15 responded and were on scene about an hour.
