Sawyer Brown and Aaron Tippin To CCF

Spencer, IA (KICD) — A fabulous night of country music is announced for the Clay County Fair…

That’s Clay County Fair General Manager Jeremy Parsons, making the introduction Thursday morning on CD 107.7.
Sawyer Brown took the country music world by storm 30 years ago, starting with a victory in the Star Search competition.  Their list of musical collaborations includes two Number one hits, Thank God For You, and Some Girls Do.  The group has had 27 top 20 hits and will bring a memorable night of country music to the stage.

Aaron Tippin has been a crusader for the working man and woman, since exploding onto the country music scene in 1990.   Tippin has more than 30 charted singles including “There Aint Nothing Wrong With The Radio” and “You Got To Stand For Something”.  After the 9/11 attacks, recorded “Where The Stars And Stripes And The Eagle Fly” to remind people what it means to be American.  Parsons really feels Aaron Tippin is a perfect performer for That night…

The two great shows will be the finale to Veterans Appeciation Day at the Clay County Fair, Monday, September 8th, starting at 7:30pm.  Ticket information will be available later this spring, for this great night of country music.  See all there is to do “Only at the fair” September 6th through the 14th.
