Sanborn, IA (KICD) — A Hartley man is arrested after an assault in Sanborn.
  Around 9:15 Tuesday evening, Sanborn Police responded to a call of a fight in progress, at a Sanborn residence.  Upon arrival, it was determined the people involved had left the residence.  Shortly thereafter, another 911 call was received from a different residence stating a man was there with stab wounds.
  When officers responded, they met with the victim, who had stab wounds on his legs.  He was taken by ambulance to the local hospital and was treated and released.
After further investigation, Police arrested 36-year old Isaac Esquivel, charging him with Assault Causing Serious Injury, a class D felony.  He was booked into the O’Brien County Jail, on a $5000 bond.
  The investigation continues into the incident.  Assisting was the O’Brien County Sheriff’s Department, Hartley Police Department, the Iowa State Patrol, and the Sanborn and Hartley Ambulance crews.
