Rock Valley Continuing With RAGBRAI

Rock Valley, IA (KICD)– City officials in Rock Valley have announced they will continue with plans to host this summer’s RAGBRAI, following last week’s flood.

Mayor Kevin Van Otterloo says they took time to talk to residents affected by last week s flood and surveyed the city.

The city council has declared that all proceeds over the RAGBRAI weekend will go to flood relief used for displaced residents and damaged property.

RAGBRAI kicks off in Rock Valley, on Saturday, July 19th, with riders leaving to head towards Okoboji on Sunday, July 20th.
