Spencer, IA (KICD) — The Pill Take Back event is set for this weekend around the area and the state.

This Saturday is the Spring Pill Take Back Day. Over the years, the pill take back event has collected a phenominal amount of expired or unused medications. Angie Mitchell is a Prevention Consultant at Compass Pointe. She tells KICD News just how much has been taken in over the past events…

Spencer’s Pill Take Back will be from 11-am to 1-pm, in the HyVee Parking lot, while the Spirit Lake Take Back event will be from 10-am until 2-pm at the Spirit Lake HyVee parking lot.
