Okoboji, IA (KICD) — A longtime city attorney for Okoboji has retired. After 31 years of service to the community, Mike Chozen announced he’s resigned his position. Okoboji City Administrator Dennis Daly spoke with KICD News about Mike, and said Chozen did a remarkable job working for the city in his career…

His resignation became effective March 25th. Daly says he will surely miss working with Chozen, as he has for many years…

Daly noted that Chozen has also been successful in prosecuting police cases, drafted contracts, and drafted ordinances as well and always represented the City of Okoboji to the highest standard, The city of Okoboji does have a replacement in place, as Daly explains…

Chozen is going to enjoy his retirement in the Okoboji and Lakes region.
