Spencer, IA (KICD) — Three northwest Iowa farm equipment dealers have been purchased.
  On January 7th, Noteboom Implement of Corsica, South Dakota announced the purchase of Northwest Equipment in Spencer, Sibley Equipment and Lake Park Equipment.

Northwest Equipment has been owned by Dave Hultgren and Pete Hegg for the past 25 years. Noteboom Implement will eventually expand products and services to the Iowa dealerships. A new 28,000 square foot building to house the Sibley dealership is under construction and scheduled to open in March 2014
The dealerships in Iowa will join dealerships in South Dakota located in Corsica, Chamberlain, and Parkston to form the new Noteboom Implement LLC. The combination of Iowa and South Dakota dealerships will employ over 200 people.
