Next Estherville Police Chief Named

Estherville, IA (KICD)–The Estherville Police Department’s next Chief has been identified.

Captain Brent Shatto currently serves as assistant to the Chief of Police and is commander of the H.E.A.T. Tactical Unit.  A Fostoria native and Terrill High School graduate, Shatto stared with the department as a part time officer in 1984 and 1985 and worked for the Laurens Police Department in 1987 before coming back as a full time officer in 1988. He is currently responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, controlling and staffing all activities of the department.

Shatto will take over for the retiring Eric Milburn.
