Neunaber Charged

Akron, IA (KICD) — An Akron man is charged in the death of his mother.

It was announced (today) Thursday that Jonathon Neunaber has been charged with first degree murder, in the death of his mother, Esther Neunaber. Esther and her husband, Donald, were both found dead in their rural Akron home July 9th. The state medical examiner determined the cause of her death as homicide.

Neunaber admitted to investigators that he fully intended to cause his mothers death. After the couples bodies were found at their residence, authorities searched and found Jonathon Neunaber in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Bond has been set at $100,000.
