Narcisse Visits Spencer

Spencer, IA (KICD)– The third candidate for Governor was in Spencer Monday.

Jonathan Narcisse attempted to run as a Democrat in the primary election, but the secretary of state’s office ruled his nomination petitions were incomplete. Narcisse will appear on the the ballot as the Iowa Party candidate this Fall.

In an effort to keep younger people in Iowa, Narcisse proposes paying for a year of college for each year an individual promises to stay in Iowa and performs 40 hours of community service.

Narcisse previously ran for governor in 2010 and will face off against Republican Governor Terry Branstad and Democrat State Senator Jack Hatch.
