Milford Propane Blaze Contained

Milford, IA (KICD)–Milford Firefighters extinguished a blaze on a propane tank last evening.

It was reported to be a 1,000 gallon tank next to a machine shed. Two hand lines were used to cool the tank and the emergency valve was able to close; extinguishing the fire. The tank was then turned off.

Fire fighters were on scene a little over an hour.
