Milford City Election Results

Milford, IA (KICD)–Two appointed members of the city of Milford’s government will stay in place.

In a special election held today Bill Reinsbach garnered 340 votes to stay on as Mayor while Rody Pederson tallied 326 votes. There were some write in votes, but with a total of 369 votes cast both Reinsbach and Pederson will stay in their respective positions.

In late June Bill Reinsbach was appointed as Mayor with Rody Pederson appointed to the council. Petitions were then filed calling for a special election for the two seats with only Reinsbach and Pederson filing to run.

Don Lamb and City Councilmember Rick Kilts resigned amidst disagreement with newly elected city councilmembers in early June.
