Mallard, IA (KICD) — A reward is being offered in a property vandalism.
The Palo Alto County Sheriffs Office took the report Saturday of the vandalism that occurred one mile east of Mallard. An engraved rock on a personal property was spray painted red, and will cost approximately $250 to clean up.
The property owner is offering a $1000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspects.
Hospers, IA (KICD) — A Worthington man is arrested on identity theft and forgery charges.
On Monday, the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office arrested 22-year old Ruben Rodriguez at Premium Iowa Pork, in Hospers. The arrest occurred after the deputy’s investigation discovered that Rodriguez was illegally using the identity of another person.
Worthington, MN (KICD) — A Worthington man is charged and jailed in a theft case.
38-year old Manivong Senesoury is charged with possession of stolen property and financial transaction card fraud. The charges stem from the theft of construction sites and vehicles, including a debit card taken from a wallet. the total amount of the items stolen or purchased was over $6000.
The Worthington Police were first alerted when a construction trailer was broken into and over $2600 in tools were missing. They then took a report days later of a wallet being taken from a vehicle, and purchases started showing up on the victims debit card.
A video surveillance tape help officers identify the man, and subsequently arrested him. Senesoury denied having the debit card, but a search of his wallet produced it. A subsequent search of his vehicle and home produced stolen Items
Senesoury will make his first court appearance early next month.
Spirit Lake, IA (KICD) — Area law enforcement is asking for help in a burglary investigation.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance into a recent burglary. Numerous items have been recovered that were believed to be stolen from the areas of East Lake Okoboji, Center Lake, and in and around the city of Spirit Lake, sometime Saturday, August 23rd into Sunday, August 24th.
The public is being asked by the Sheriffs Office to check their boats and vehicles for any missing property. Anyone that has something missing, is asked to contact the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office at 712-336-2793.
