Mainstreet Market Kicks Off

Spencer, IA (KICD)–The Clay County Courthouse Square will be packed tonight with the kickoff of the Mainstreet Market.

Jim Schooley with the Spencer Alliance for a Creative Economy tells KICD News that live music will be provided each of the next five weeks.

Many local growers of fresh garden produce can be expected each week and food vendors will offer a variety of ready-to-eat items for market-goers to enjoy while they shop.

The Mainstreet Market runs from 5-8 p.m. for tonight and the following four Thursdays on the Clay County Courthouse Square.
