Laurens Man Heading To Prison

Storm Lake, IA (KICD)–A Laurens man has been sentenced to a term not to exceed five years in prison after admitting he violated the terms of his probation in Buena Vista County District Court.
29-year-old Mario Neither was arrested in November after law enforcement raided his home and found marijuana and marijuana cultivation equipment and growing plants.  Next week Neither will plead guilty in Pocahontas County to two Class D felony counts of Delivery of Marijuana, one of which carries an enhanced sentence for being within 1,000 feet of a school, one class D felony count of Manufacturing a Controlled Substance, Child Endangerment, and Possession of Adderall.  The term of Incarceration for Buena Vista County will run concurrently with that of the sentencing from Pocahontas County, resulting in a prison term of up to ten years on all convictions.
Neither lived in Storm Lake when he was originally placed on probation in 2010 in Buena Vista County after being found guilty of Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent
