Lake Park Fountain & City Seal Unveiled

Lake Park, IA (KICD)–The city of Lake Park has unveiled a new fountain aimed at beautifying the area and battling algae outbreaksĀ and a new city seal.

City Manager Wade Wagoner tells KICD News that they held a ceremony Tuesday night for the “Silver Spring” fountain.

The fountain will be lit with red, white and blue lights from Memorial Day through the Fourth of July.

Wagoner says that Mike Ehret has been named the winner of a city wide contest to create a new city seal.

Elementary and Middle School students also took part in the contest.

The new city seal, which can be seen on our websites, will be engraved into the limestone sign on theĀ the front of Lake Park City Hall.
