Heron Lake, MN (KICD) — A traffic stop results in an arrest on drug charges.
On Wednesday, a Jackson County Sheriffs Deputy made a traffic stop on Highway 60 near Heron Lake. Upon making contact with the driver, Benjamin Hallgren of Inver Grove Heights, the deputy saw drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. The deputy asked if any other illegal items in the vehicle, Hallgren handed over a small bag of marijuana, and said there was more in the back of the vehicle.
The search yielded approximately 1.9 lbs of marijuana, and then arrested Hallgren on felony drug charges. He was booked into the Jackson County Jail, and was released after posting a $10,000 bond.
