Spencer, IA (CCF)–The Clay County Fair has landed country music’s Hunter Hayes presented by CD 107.7 FM in the U.S. Cellular Grandstand for the 2014 Clay County Fair on Sunday, September 7 at 7:30 p.m.
“For those who follow country music, Hunter is one of the brightest new stars,” said CCF Manager Jeremy Parsons. “I know people will look back at this performance and remember the night Hunter Hayes was at the Clay County Fair.”
The Country Music Association’s choice as the Best New Artist of 2012, Hunter Hayes earned his award because of his intense, single-minded dedication to his music. That laser-like focus resulted in an album that still is the talk of the country-music community, Hunter Hayes. He wrote or co-wrote all of the songs on the album, co-produced it, sang all the vocals, and played all of the 30-some instruments heard on the record.
The barn-burning “Storm Warning” became the collection’s debut Gold Single. His gripping ballad “Wanted” soared to No. 1 and is quickly nearing Double Platinum status. A 2013 re-issue, Encore, included the Top 5 single “I Want Crazy.” His second album Storyline is anticipated for release this May, and includes the current hit racing up the charts “Invisible.”
The opening act and ticket information will be available later this spring.
